Infused with our delicious estate unpasteurized wild flower honey and wild blackberries, this version of the Bulldog & Bee is unlike anything we’ve done before. This sparkling wine is unfiltered and offer floral aromas of honey, apple blossom and berries. The wine’s off-dry, clean, full body is complimented by a noticeable evolving flavor profile that is smooth with a soft lingering fruity finish.

The Hounds of Erie winery is located in beautiful Clear Creek, Norfolk County, along the northern shore of Lake Erie. As part of the Lake Erie Basin, the vineyard is planted on rich, fertile sandy-loam soils. The grapes are ripened by the region’s hot days, and cool lake-breeze nights.
A first of its kind in Canada, our single varietal Petite Louis benefits from our sandy loam soils by producing a softer, more delicate wine with floral aromas accompanied by honey, pear and gooseberries. the off-dry, slightly sweetened finish exhibits remanence of grapefruit and orange peel.

Picked on a cold crisp September morning, our Marquette grapes were immediately crushed and pressed. The wine boasts a deep ruby colour that is accompanied by flavours of fresh raspberries and cherries. This bright, crisp, and clean wine was exposed to a primary wild-fermentation to help bring out the nature of the Marquette grapes. Through stirred contact with its lees, the resulting wine has plenty of body and mouth-feel and should be enjoyed for any special occasion or simply for something new, fun, and exciting.
